Metroid fusion is the goat dude
I love the body horror in it and the monster designs in general, especially the SA-X's final form
It's also got some of the best ambient music and sound design out of any 2D Metroid game. Nintendo really needs to make a remaster of it for modern consoles

Yeaaaa Metroid Fusion are the franchise's most darker aspects of its atmosphere at its best, I can imagine how perfect would be a Remaster/Remake with an improved AI for the SA-X and no sound chip limitations for its already very atmospheric ost. It has been a blast replaying it (Super Metroid too, even better), and now that my Metroid autism is back, I am once again in shame cuz I can't play Dread lmao.
